Tripp (Matthew McConaughey) has a good job, a nice car and a passion for sailing, but there is just one problem. At 35, he still lives with his parents (Terry Bradshaw and Kathy Bates). Eager to see Tripp leave their nest, his parents set him up with Paula (Sarah Jessica Parker), a woman with a proven track record of getting reluctant men to grow up.
