This documentary details the aborted production of director (Terry Gilliam's) ill-fated attempt to film The Man Who Killed Don Quixote in late 2000. Piece by piece, the entire film falls apart, despite the crew's best efforts to keep the ship afloat. A severe storm washes away equipment, jet fighters interrupt the filming of a pivotal scene and the star suffers a damaging back injury. Meant to be included as a featurette on the film's eventual DVD, this footage shows the end of Gilliam's decade-long dream to make a film based on Don Quixote.
