When their teenage son Matt (Kyle Gallner) is diagnosed with cancer, Sara (Virginia Madsen) and Peter Campbell (Martin Donovan) are forced to relocate near a clinic where Matt can receive treatment. While the family tries to settle into their new home, Matt begins experiencing disturbing, paranormal events that his parents initially blame on his illness. But, when the activity escalates and the family discovers that their new house is a converted mortuary, Sara seeks help from an enigmatic priest (Elias Koteas). Directed by Peter Cornwell.
