Aaron Hallam (Benicio Del Toro), a trained assassin AWOL from the Special Forces, hides out in the forest and kills some hunters. FBI Special Agent Abby Durrell (Connie Nielsen) turns to L.T. Bonham (Tommy Lee Jones), the one man tough enough to capture him. Bonham realizes he trained Hallam and can't say no to the assignment.
