Even though Michael (Zach Braff) and Jenna (Jacinda Barrett) have been happily dating for three years, their realtionship becomes strained when Jenna becomes pregnant. At thirty-years-old, Michael is worried that his youth is over and he'll have to make changes in his life that he's not ready for. When he meets Kim (Rachel Bilson), a beautiful, free-spirited college student, Michael gives into temptation and betray's Jenna's trust in order to find out just what he might be missing. While Michael tries to figure out a way to make things righ with Jenna, her parents, Stephen (Tom Wilkinson) and Anna (Blythe Danner) finally address the problems that have cast a shadow over their marriage for years.
