This sequel to The Mummy takes place nine years after the events of the first film. Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) have married and are raising their son in England. But when the evil mummy Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo) returns to life and breaks out of the British Museum, where he was housed, the couple gets involved in the struggle between Imhotep and the Scorpion King (Dwayne Johnson).
