When faced with the murder of a famous soccer coach and the theft of the famous Pink Panther diamond, Chief Inspector Dreyfus (Kevin Kline) needs the best detective in France. But, since he's unavailable, the Chief will have to rely on the bumbling Inspector Jaques Clouseau (Steve Martin). As the incompetent Inspector investigates the case with the help of his partner, Ponton (Jean Reno), he manages to bungle every lead, but still manages to save the day. Directed by Shawn Levy.
