When four teenagers die exactly one week after watching a mysterious video tape, journalist Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) tracks down and watches the tape for herself. After witnessing the eerie, cryptic images it contains, Rachel is forced unravel the video's message as she races against time to save herself and a her son (David Dorfman) before the week is up.
