Matt Gadman (Josh Gad) and his band A.D.D. need a new drummer. In order to play at their high school prom, Matt reluctantly asks his uncle Robert (Rainn Wilson) to join the group. A former drummer for a hit 80s hair band, Robert's outrageous antics are captured on an internet video that helps the band catch the eye of producer David Marshall (Jason Sudeikis), who offers them a chance to take their show on tour. With Robert by their sides to show them the ways of the road, the young band hits the road for the ride of their lives. Directed by Peter Cattaneo.
