After moving to a new town with his mom (Karen Allen) and stepdad (Denis Leary), Scotty Smalls (Tom Guiry) tries to learn how to play baseball in order to fit in with the local kids. A horrible athlete with no self-esteem, Smalls struggles until Rodriquez (Mike Vitar), the best player in the neighborhood, takes him under his wing.
