When a Mexican villiage is terrorized by a villainous bandit and his gang of outlaws, the townspeople call upon the greatest heroes they know: Dusty Bottoms (Chevy Chase), Lucky Day (Steve Martin) and Ned Nederlander (Martin Short). The only problem is that these would-be gunmen are actually three out of work silent movie actors who think they are traveling south of the border to star in a new film.
