Justin Cobb (Lou Taylor Pucci) is desperate to find a way to stop sucking his thumb and alleviate the undue stress his habit puts on his family, his love life and his identity. His father (Vincent D'Onofrio) gives him a cayenne-pepper cream and takes him fly-fishing. His mother (Tilda Swinton) is wrapped up in a fake relationship with a TV star. The only thing that stops his thumbsucking is hypnosis therapy administered by his orthodontist (Keanu Reeves), but the problem resurfaces in other forms. Directed by Mike Mills.
