When their new guardians forbid them from having a pet, Andi (Emma Roberts) and Bruce (Jake T. Austin) are forced to find a new home for their dog, Friday. Scouring the city, the siblings stumble upon an abandoned hotel and employ Bruce's mechanical talents to transform it into the ultimate doggie paradise. On their first day of high school, Ryan (Troy Gentile), Wade (Nate Hartley) and Emmit (David Dorfman) have a run-in with Filkins (Alex Frost) and Ronnie (Josh Peck), the school bullies.
