Immigrants of different nationalities struggle to earn their legal status in Los Angeles. Their plight includes dealing with crossing the border, obtaining fraudulent documents, gaining asylum and the green card process. In addition to the difficulties of entering the US and living in a new countries, the immigrants must also deal with work-site enforcement and the office of counter terrorism.
