With summer coming to an end, Camp Firewood director Beth (Janeane Garofalo) tries to keep the peace and fight off feelings for Henry Newman (David Hyde Pierce), a local astrophysics professor working to save the camp from falling space debris. Meanwhile, naive counselor Coop (Michael Showalter) does his best to win the heart of Katie (Marguerite Moreau), even though she has a thing for Andy (Paul Rudd), the sleazy lifeguard.
